How to Report a Market Issue or Request Re-Settlement
If you believe a market settlement is incorrect or discover a technical issue in market operation, these steps explain how to formally submit feedback.
Types of Issues You Can Report
- Settlement result inconsistent with what you believe is correct
- Abnormal price movements in a market (suspected manipulation)
- Order placed but not correctly matched, or funds not received
- Technical issues in market configuration (such as incorrect end time)
Reporting Process
- Gather evidence: screenshots, transaction hash, links to authoritative sources for event outcome
- Go to the Contact Us page and select "Market Issue Report" type
- Submit: market name/slug, issue description, your basis and sources for the correct outcome
- Expect initial feedback within 24 to 48 hours
Settlement Dispute Pathway
If a settlement error is confirmed, the platform will initiate a formal dispute process through the UMA oracle. Disputes are decided by binding vote of UMA token holders. The platform cannot unilaterally modify completed on-chain settlements.
Important Note
Filing a report does not guarantee re-settlement. Each case will be independently evaluated; formal dispute processes are only initiated when an objective error is confirmed.
